Katie Thorne, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly a decade of clinical experience. She first earned her Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from James Madison University in 2015, driven by a passion for personal wellness and integrative health. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Augusta University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia) in 2017.

Katie began her PA career in General Surgery at a busy regional hospital in Statesboro, Georgia, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and deep appreciation for patient care. In 2020, she relocated to Greenville, South Carolina, after getting engaged to her husband, Ryan. Since moving to the Upstate, she has practiced in both Functional Health Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine—fields that allow her to blend her love of education, wellness, and transformative patient outcomes.

At SkinGlow MD, Katie specializes in full-face, non-surgical cosmetic procedures, weight loss, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She is devoted to helping patients enhance their health and confidence from the inside out. Being part of a patient’s transformative journey brings her immense fulfillment, and she finds true joy in helping others achieve their goals.

Outside the clinic, Katie loves traveling and spending time at Lake Murray with her husband, their three children—Chloe, Carter, and Cameron—and their golden retriever, Charlie.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Kaitlyn Spearman, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of nursing experience and a deep passion for aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 2011 and began her career in Charleston, South Carolina, working on a Neuro-Spine Unit. After relocating to Columbia, she expanded her expertise in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit, developing strong clinical judgment and a calm, precise approach to patient care.

In 2017, Kaitlyn completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Carolina. She then moved to Austin, Texas, where she began her NP career in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery—an experience that introduced her to aesthetics at an advanced and highly specialized level.

Guided by a passion for skincare, wellness, and natural-looking results, Kaitlyn takes a “less is more” approach to cosmetic care. Her mission is to help patients achieve their desired aesthetic outcomes while enhancing the overall health and radiance of their everyday skin.

Raised in the Lowcountry, Kaitlyn loves the beach, Clemson football, staying active, and spending time with her husband, James, and three wonderful boys!

Lead Aesthetician | Licensed Aesthetician

Shantelle Stauffer, LE is a licensed Aesthetician and graduate of Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology. With three years of hands-on experience, she has developed a refined expertise in treating dry and sensitized skin, as well as a special talent for therapeutic facial massage. Her skill set spans a wide range of services—from lashes and brows to customized facials, chemical peels, and other advanced skincare treatments—making her a well-rounded provider committed to exceptional results.

Shantelle is passionate about client education and believes that informed care is the key to long-term skin health. She takes time to explain product use, answer questions, and guide clients in creating routines that help them feel confident, empowered, and supported.

Outside the treatment room, Shantelle enjoys baking, staying active, and spending time with her boyfriend, Jason, along with their two dogs, Theo and Nala, and their cat, Sushi.

Jennifer is a 2004 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Business Management. She has worked in industries including modeling & acting, health & fitness, sales, production & choreography, as well as consulting for the past 20 years. Jennifer is married and has two children and loves being a cheer mom and a baseball mom. She is a former Mrs. South Carolina America and still enjoys pageant coaching in the Upstate. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys working out, traveling, and attending Clemson sporting events.

Licensed Aesthetician & Patient Coordinator

Gabbie Cartee. LE is a Licensed Aesthetician who graduated with honors from Kenneth Shuler’s Esthetics Program in 2023. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her strong scientific background—paired with a genuine passion for skincare and client care—is what initially drew her into the world of aesthetics.

Gabbie brings valuable experience in medical aesthetics, product knowledge, client education, and treatment planning. At SkinGlow MD, she serves as the interim Patient Coordinator, supporting guests at the front desk while completing certifications in all skincare lines carried by the practice and gaining hands-on experience in the facial treatment room.

Detail-oriented and client-focused, Gabbie is known for her exceptional service, organization, and ability to foster strong relationships. She excels in skincare recommendations, spa operations, and creating a welcoming, high-quality experience for every patient. Deeply passionate about the aesthetics industry, she stays engaged in the latest trends and advancements and is committed to ongoing professional growth.

Outside of work, Gabbie enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and hiking with her husband and their dog, Charlee.
